Quilling craft - Red flower design

Inspired from other bloggers i have started quilling and its quite long time i have done this. Now i am loving this craft and tried lot of new things, new designs and all that i can do with these quilling strips. I will come up with some 3D quilling craft too.

Here i tried out this greeting card with just 3 colors of paper. A simple and elegant design.

Just take 2" red 6 teardrop for making flowers. 2" green marquises leaves and 2" blue 9 tight circles. Just these simple designs and u can make any kind of designs with these shapes.

This is the one i made.

Hi Darshini,
The quillingpapers looks like chart paper but i guess not as think as chart paper i am not very sure about the paper used as i used pre cut strips which is easily available if u ask for quilling strips.. Diff stores got diff quality of paper so we cant end up with conclusion saying that it is chart paper or something..

So try using pre cut papers so that it will help u create good designs.

Thanx,
Reshmi

Hi Darshini,

The paper I used for background is gateway paper.. But its completely up to u .. U can actually use any kind of paper for backgound for different looks.

Try using crape paper or handmade paper the design will look completely different..

Thanx,
Reshmi
